Memorial Park and Dog Beach

My hometown of Meaford loves animals so much that within the Memorial Park and Campground, there is a lovely sandy beach designated specifically to dogs like me. Memorial Park and Campground is:

• a quick drive from downtown and the harbour, or about a 25 minute walk from there
• just a 5 minute walk from my leash-free park on Grant Avenue
• 2,000 feet of sandy beach with a small portion of that designated to dogs
• excellent walking and hiking trails and a flower path walkway through the woods

Just reminders that dogs are to be kept on leash while in the Park so that others without pets can enjoy their visit. Please, as always, pick up after your pet and help keep our Parks clean.
